Gold

img_0600-1Buying a staple bread here, called 白病, is a pretty normal thing we do. Especially when we want some bread to go with our Chinese beef noodle soup.  We sometimes have a “make your own pizza night” when our pizza maker, Dan, is out of town or getting home late. Here’s a shot of the bread we bought outside our complex.  It wasn’t as ordinary as normal.

It had the word, “Gold”, stamped on it.  Gold in Chinese is made up of two characters.  So they put one on the front and one on the back.  Pretty cool.
