Yesterday I saw a toddler outside with his mom. I say toddler because he was still toddling as he walked. When his mom squatted down to show him the spring grass growing–he squatted right beside her! I still have trouble squatting naturally and here this one year old who can barely walk alone does it like it’s nothing. Cultural norms start young!
Going downstairs to the new supermarket in town the other day I couldn’t resist snapping this picture. Here’s a shop worker making the most of every minute texting while she rides the moving walkway…while squatting. Of course, she’s probably been doing it since before she could walk.
