IMG_0087“It’s a boy!” they said as I walked down to hall to get the news. Brother #3 had arrived safe and sound. I was 14 years old and Baby Corban John had finally brought balance to the force…well, at least to our family 🙂 With three girls and three boys, we made a happy bunch.

The Force Awakens  (Indoctrinating a new generation.)

Soon it will be Chinese New Year. People are making their plans to spend time with extended family around this time. When someone told me today whose house they were going to over the holiday it reminded me of the days we had with my extended family this last summer. We didn’t have a lot of time in Colorado this trip, but my brothers made the time to come hang out.  Corban’s grown up now and such a cool guy.  I’m lucky to have such a great family.

Now I’ve got three who appreciate The Force.  And, thanks to a new movie theater down the road we had a family activity the other evening. 🙂

P.S. We girls were happy to be outnumbered when Boy #4 came along a couple years later, but that’s a story for another day.
