“It’s above my heart, Mom!”

Asher hurt his knee the other day while falling through some thin ice, which I hope is a lesson that will serve him well in his future decision making while on ice.  (side note: you’d be very proud of me–I didn’t lecture or yell, I was simply very sympathetic.)  Anyway, when he was complaining about knee pain the next day I said he should lay on the couch and elevate it for awhile.  He did.  Then he went to get his PJ’s on and shortly the kids came out to the living room with Asher declaring how he was keeping his knee elevated above his heart just like I said!  (Apparently the injury wasn’t too serious!)

IMG_0069But now most of my fun’s over as they’re back in school.  So here’s a picture of them in uniforms heading back to school for the Spring semester.

Proud of these kids attending Chinese school everyday!
