Language Learning

Writing Chinese characters is terribly challenging, but oh so fun! Here’s an example of one of the hundreds of times that one can be a character in and of itself but can also be a part of another character with a completely unrelated meaning. I love the challenge of writing a portion of a character with the right proportions in the tiny space alloted for it within another character. And I never forget to follow the correct order that you have to write the varius lines (called strokes). 🙂
