The Norm

Pedestrian Bridge at 五四大街 on the the south campus of ShiDa University

On the way home from class this morning the pedestrian bridge was crowded as usual.  But everyone seemed to know, as always, just how to keep things moving and surprisingly it doesn’t take much longer to get across than if it were empty.  Crowd movements–if I had more lives to live I’d have to use one to study that topic in depth.
