Creativity and Children

Styling his own hair now.

Asher asked Harmony to decorate his paper airplane. Who would have thought paper airplanes could bring hours and hours of entertainment!

Jeneva inspired the girls to learn how to finger knit. We finally had a couple hours to load up youtube instructions and try our fingers at it!

Ahava has become a Speedy Finger Knitter and Harmony has been wearing her hand-knitted headbands for days!  Notice the water bottle she carries to our local noodle shop (a gift from her Papa Ron’s post office back in the States.)

A Snake Zoo now exists in our home. Ahava cuts these out of the cardboard liners that come in the boxes of yogurt that we eat for breakfast along with our Tang sweetened oatmeal. The various snake designs are all hers. Some are inspired by the snakes at the zoo here in town.

It’s so fun to see all the kids! 🙂 And fun to see their creations as well! We miss you guys! And you’re in our thoughts, nearly daily. Press on!

Yay for finger knitting! Maybe this will inspire Jeneva to get back into it again. 🙂
